The ESEE Strap Kit 1 converts the sheath of a small ESEE fixed blade for horizontal scout carry. It's sized for ESEE's small Kydex and molded sheaths, including the Candiru, Izula, Izula II, Imlay, and Xancudo, and lets the knife ride flat across the front or back of your belt instead of hanging off your hip.
Scout carry keeps a small fixed blade low-profile and within easy reach, especially when you're seated, driving, or wearing a pack that would get in the way of a hip-carried knife. The kit includes the black straps along with straight posts and Phillips screws, so everything needed to set up your sheath comes in one package. Installation takes just a few minutes: push a post through one of the sheath's holes, secure it with a screw from the other side, close the strap, repeat on the other side, and thread your belt through both straps.
