This high-visibility version pairs a 2.94" stonewashed AUS-8 stainless drop-point blade, with a shape inspired by the ESEE Laser Strike fixed blade, with a steel frame lock handle and a molded orange polymer front, all at just 3.10 oz.
AUS-8 stainless steel is a practical everyday steel: it resists corrosion, sharpens easily, and holds a working edge for routine cutting. This blade is hardened to 58-59 HRC. The flat-ground drop point slices cleanly, and the stonewash finish helps hide scratches from daily use. The bright orange polymer front keeps the knife light and makes it easy to spot if you set it down in leaves, brush, or the bottom of a pack, while the steel frame lock keeps the blade secure in use.

What kind of lock does the Zancudo use?＋
It uses a steel frame lock. When the blade opens, part of the steel handle frame moves behind the blade to hold it securely open. To close it, press the lock bar aside with your thumb and fold the blade closed, keeping your fingers clear of the blade's path.

How do I care for the AUS-8 blade?＋
AUS-8 is a stainless steel that resists corrosion but is not rustproof. Wipe the blade clean and dry after use, especially after cutting food or exposure to moisture, and add a drop of light oil to the pivot occasionally to keep the action smooth.
