I bought this hatchet as a Christmas gift for my son. It is exactly what I expected out of an Estwing! The leather handle and tool finish are beautiful! I've owned Estwing hammers for years now but used to use cheap ones. There is a huge difference. My grandpa still has the Estwing hammer he bought almost 70 years ago and I remember loving to use it growing up. I was so pumped the first time I bought one for myself. I'm sure this hatchet will give my son a lifetime of dependable usage!
