Product Description
The Helle Blade #310 is the factory blade blank used in the Helle Gaupe — one of Norway's most respected hunting knives. For knifemakers and handle builders, it's direct access to the same steel, grind, and geometry that goes into Helle's finished production knives, before the handle ever goes on.
The steel is H3LS triple laminated stainless — Helle's signature construction. A hard high-alloy core delivers a razor-sharp, long-lasting edge, while the softer stainless outer layers add toughness, corrosion resistance, and easy maintenance. The blade is ground to a classic Scandi profile, the geometry preferred for woodworking, bushcraft, and outdoor tasks, and arrives at 107 mm (4.21 in) in length with a 3.1 mm spine thickness that balances rigidity with nimble cutting. Every blade is made by hand in Holmedal, Norway through Helle's up-to-45-step process.
This is a full tang blank with a plain edge and satin finish. The suggested brass butt size is #3. Whether you're building your first custom handle or adding to a collection, this is one of the cleanest starting points available from a production knife manufacturer.
