The Toxic Green Cel Shade takes the flat-panel, graphic novel-inspired aesthetic that has turned the Medusa into a collector favorite and brings it to Heretic's compact pocket fixed blade for the first time. The result is a knife that looks like it was pulled out of a video game — high-contrast Toxic Green with bold black outline detailing across the G-10 handle and blade, finished with a cel-shaded stainless bead that was hand-tied to match. And here is the part that gets people: it is UV reactive. Under a black light this knife does something most production knives never will.
Underneath the finish is the same Kobold platform that has earned a loyal following among fixed blade EDC carriers. The 2.56-inch CPM-MagnaCut blade offers a 2.25-inch cutting edge in a bowie profile — compact enough for pocket carry, capable enough for hard use. MagnaCut is widely regarded as the most well-rounded blade steel available in production knives today, combining edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance in a way that no single-alloy steel can match. The full-tang construction runs through the G-10 handle scales, which are secured with press-fit pins. Handle thickness is 0.3125 inches — slim enough to disappear in a pocket. At 2.1 ounces this knife barely registers on the belt or in a pocket until you need it.
