Product Description
The most vicious ant in the bush is known as "Isula" by the people of Peru — the Bullet Ant. The Izula knife is constructed similarly to the Bullet Ant, which is noted for being independent, hardy, agile, and a true survivor. This knife is made to be the ideal covert carry or lightweight survival kit knife (or unconcealed, if you choose). The Izula and the Izula II, which has a longer handle with Micarta scales, are its two sizes — since both share the same blade, their respective sheaths are compatible. Perhaps the smallest survival fixed blade available, the Izula weighs virtually nothing, so why not pack one? Two is one, one is none.
The blade is ground from 1095 carbon steel and finished in a distinctive Desert Tan coating, with a flat grind and plain edge for straightforward, precise cutting. The matching tan Micarta handle offers a longer grip than the standard Izula, for a more secure hold.
- Blade: 1095 carbon steel, Desert Tan finish, flat-ground plain edge drop point — compact and lightweight
- Handle: Tan Micarta, longer than the standard Izula for a more secure grip
- Construction: Fixed blade, no folding mechanism
- Carry: 3.20 oz, includes injection-molded black polymer sheath
Buyers who want the Izula's small, lightweight footprint with a longer, more secure Micarta handle for covert or backup carry.
