The Pro-Tech Mordax Limited Edition in solid red is a Ferrum Forge Knife Works collaboration build — a 8.13" full-size manual folder with a flipper tab deployment and ball bearing pivot that gives it a faster, smoother action than most button lock folders at this price point.

The blade is CPM-MagnaCut with a DLC black finish — one of the strongest all-around performance steels available in a production folder, balancing edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. At 3.50" on a drop point profile, the DLC black coating runs the blade in a fully dark aesthetic that matches the black hardware, black clip, and black lip pearl button accent throughout the build.

The handle is solid red smooth 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum — a clean, uninterrupted red surface without texture variation or milling pattern, letting the color read fully across the handle. The black lip pearl button inlay sits in the manual button lock release, adding an iridescent dark accent against the otherwise all-black hardware. The DLC black deep carry clip rides tip-up for right-hand carry. The ball bearing pivot is the mechanical detail that separates the Mordax from Pro-Tech's standard pivot construction — smoother deployment stroke and more consistent action over time.
