The blade is CPM-S30V with a DLC (diamond-like carbon) coating. CPM-S30V delivers genuine edge retention and corrosion resistance for extended daily carry — more than 154CM, and without the sharpening difficulty of M390 or CPM-20CV. The DLC coating adds a hard, low-friction surface that resists surface abrasion and reduces reflectivity to near zero, making this the right configuration for duty, professional, or low-profile carry.
