Continuing our tradition of being one of America’s premier online knife stores, Knifeworks got a major shoutout this week by Newsweek According to the magazine, we’re now among America’s Fastest Growing Online Shops for 2022!

The list, released on 6/29, recognizes online retailers experiencing rapid growth and trending in the market with brands that show high levels of quality service and trust. Knifeworks and the other winners were selected based on 3 key criteria: Sales, Traffic, and Website Technical Details. To qualify, online shops had to meet all the following criteria:

At least 1 million visits and $1 million in U.S.-based revenue

Growth in traffic and revenue over the last 2 years

More than half of all sales and traffic generated in the U.S.

Newsweek previously ranked Knifeworks among the Best Online Shops for 2020 and 2021. A score out of 10 was determined for each candidate. Last year, we received 8.09 out of 10, ranking us among the highest in the Outdoor category.

Our founder, Roger Claunch, launched Knifeworks in 1998 with the mission to meet customers’ needs by having what they want on hand. As a result, we’re now one of the largest marketplaces to buy knives online in the world, with a large in-stock inventory ready to ship.

Our services do not stop there. We also offer custom laser engraving—and can do so at a lower cost because we complete this work in-house. Custom engraving isn’t limited to knives and other tools. It’s available on such things as flasks, Maglites, and money clips.
