The ESEE-3MIL is a version of the all-purpose ESEE-3 that adds a glass breaker to the handle. This model pairs a 3.88" black-coated 1095 drop-point blade with a partially serrated edge, tan Micarta handle scales, and a polymer sheath with a MOLLE back. This unit ships without its retail box.
1095 carbon steel is a classic outdoor steel: tough, easy to sharpen in the field, and dependable under hard use. ESEE runs it at 55-57 HRC. The 0.125" thick, flat-ground blade slices thin for processing game and making tinder, while the serrated section near the handle helps cut through rope, cordage, webbing, and other tough materials. The tan Micarta scales grip well in the hand, and the integrated glass breaker sits at the end of the handle.
