The Heretic Knives Medusa Manual H009-CS-YW in Yellow Cel Shade is the final production drop of Manual Medusas for this generation — and it closes out the Cel Shade project that the Medusa itself launched. Four Cel Shade colors. Four drops. Yellow is the fourth. When this inventory is gone, the Manual Medusa Cel Shade is finished.

The blade is ground from CPM MagnaCut — Crucible's particle metallurgy stainless steel engineered by Dr. Larrin Thomas to deliver edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance simultaneously, without the tradeoffs that define conventional stainless grades. The 3.00" tanto profile runs a flat grind at 0.20" thick — geometry that combines the slicing efficiency of a flat grind with the reinforced tip strength of a tanto. The blade carries a hand-painted Cerakote finish with a clear coat — applied individually by hand, inspired by Marvel comic books and Borderlands' iconic cel-shaded visual style. Cerakote is a polymer-ceramic coating known for exceptional hardness and corrosion resistance; the hand-painted application means every knife received individual attention rather than a batch coating process. The result is a blade that looks like it came out of a panel or a loading screen — and cuts like CPM MagnaCut.

The handle is machined from titanium with a matching Yellow Cel Shade finish and black textured grip inlays that add purchase and break up the flat yellow surface. The Frame Lock engages directly from the titanium handle frame for a solid, zero-play lockup that handles hard use without concern. Flipper tab and thumb hole give you dual deployment options.
