The Heretic Nyx H015-7A-GRN-ULTEM brings a green Ultem handle to Heretic's slim, double-action OTF platform. Built at one of the best blade-to-handle ratios in its class, the Nyx carries flat and deploys fast without feeling bulky in the pocket.

The 3.62" blade is CPM MagnaCut, a stainless super-steel prized for edge retention and corrosion resistance, ground to a 0.14" thickness for real cutting strength without added bulk. The knife fires via double-action out-the-front deployment, driven by a crisp stepped thumb slide, and includes a low-profile glass breaker built into the tail of the handle for emergency use.

The handle measures 5.04" and is machined from Ultem, a lightweight, high-strength polymer, finished in green. Overall length is 8.66" and the knife weighs 3.6 oz. A reversible pocket clip allows for comfortable right- or left-hand carry, and the blade locks via Heretic's internal locking mechanism.

If the blade still won't track properly or feels gritty/misaligned, stop use and contact Heretic Knives directly through their warranty page rather than disassembling the knife yourself.

What oil should I use on the Heretic Nyx?＋

Use a lightweight, non-gumming oil made for OTF and automatic knives, such as Heretic's own OTF Lube — heavier oils and greases can attract lint and debris that jam the mechanism over time. Apply a small drop to the blade spine and visible internal rails, then cycle the action a few times to work it in. Wipe away any excess so it doesn't collect grit.
