Product Description
Kershaw 7150 Launch 8, 3.5" CPM 154 Plain Blade, Gray Aluminum/Carbon Fiber Insert Handle
SLEEKEST LAUNCH YET
Inspired by the look of classic Italian stilettos, the Kershaw Launch 8 modernizes this traditional design for a new generation of knife enthusiasts.
The Launch 8 features the sleek, symmetrical lines of a stiletto in a push-button knife that’s lightweight—only 2.4 ounces—and easy-to-carry. The blade is CPM 154 with a stonewashed finish. This powdered metallurgy steel has a more uniform distribution of carbides, so it takes and holds an excellent edge. It also offers good corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and toughness. The slim blade is sharpened on one side, and it has a deep top grind to lighten weight and add stiletto style.
The handle is gray anodized aluminum with a handsome carbon fiber insert. To maintain the Launch 8’s symmetrical look, the pivot is sunk deep in the handle and covered by the insert. Integrated fingerguards on both top and bottom of the handle keep fingers away from danger. The Launch 8 also has a reversible pocketclip (right/left, tip-up) for convenient carry.
Comply with all local, State, and Federal regulations regarding the purchase, owning, carrying, and transportation of automatic knives.

Solid Auto
This is my first entry with Kershaw autos, based on this knife it won't be the last. This is a solid edc auto with an out of the box edge that can't be beat. Acute can't describe the tip. The scales are a nice medium gray with a black carbon fiber insert that provides a good solid grip. The old glory printed on the scales by the solid pocket clip lets you know this one was made in the US. The action is solid and FAST. It was fast to begin with but as I knife lube and clean my knives prior to use, the action is positively a blur. The lock up is solid. There is NO play of the blade once locked. It is that solid. That being said, the action button while easy to access, will not open this little razor blade in your pocket. It takes a firm press that bumping into your keys cannot repeat. I have seen other reviews that state that the handle is to small. I would not say this is to small, slim yes, but not to small for a positive grip. I have found that placing my edge side finger behind the molded guard and my thumb on top of the top guard and onto the back of the blade a bit provides a positive and lively grip. I could talk all day about this little gem. A work knife it is not, a get you home alive knife it certainly is. Knifeworks had this knife to me in three days! Amazing customer service and a fair price. I will be back!!
