The steel is Bohler M390MK, Microtech's in-house processed variant of Böhler M390, hardened to 61–62 HRC. At that hardness, M390MK delivers edge retention that outlasts most production fixed blade steels while maintaining corrosion resistance for carry in varied environments. The flat grind and stonewash finish keep the geometry clean and the surface resistant to surface marking in daily use.

The handle is ember G-10 — a high-visibility orange with a textured 3D machined surface that provides positive grip without aggressive edges. At 4.49" and 6.20 oz total, this is a carry knife first.
