Warranty Information
Microtech Knives covers their products with a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Every authentic Microtech knife is guaranteed to be free of defects in materials and factory workmanship for the life of the original owner. If the internal firing mechanism, spring system, or blade chassis fails due to a manufacturing defect, Microtech will repair or replace the tool. On out-the-front (OTF) models like the Dirac D/E, Microtech fully covers the dynamic internal springs and action blocks under normal operational use. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, rust, blade sharpening maintenance, or cosmetic scratches from carry, and does not cover fading or wear of custom Signature Series graphic or anodized finishes over time. Damaging the tool through misuse, such as prying with the tip, using the handle as a hammer, or throwing the knife, voids the warranty. Fully disassembling the internal spring-actuated firing drive train or attempting self-repair can void warranty coverage if components are damaged or reassembled incorrectly.
