Product Description
The Endela C243FSK390 was created to split the difference between Spyderco's best-selling Endura 4 and Delica 4 Lightweight, with the proven features of both in an "in-between" size. This version pairs a fully serrated K390 MICROCLEAN SpyderEdge blade with blue FRN, the signature color of Spyderco's K390 family.
K390 MICROCLEAN is a powder metallurgy cold work tool steel from Böhler-Uddeholm, formulated for demanding industrial applications and known for exceptional edge retention. The 0.118" blade is full-flat ground with a satin finish, and the fully serrated SpyderEdge grips and cuts rope, webbing, and cordage where a plain edge tends to slide. The trade-off is care: it isn't stainless, so it needs to be kept clean and dry.
- Blade: 3.41" K390 MICROCLEAN drop point with a 2.99" fully serrated SpyderEdge, full-flat grind, satin finish, 0.118" thick.
- Handle: Blue FRN with Spyderco's Bi-Directional Texture over nested, skeletonized stainless steel liners; 4.69" closed, 0.42" thick, 3.2 oz.
- Deployment + Lock: Spyderco Trademark Round Hole for one-handed opening with either hand; a sturdy Back Lock holds the blade open and releases by pressing the lock bar on the spine.
- Carry: Four-position pocket clip for tip-up or tip-down carry on the right or left side; 8.10" overall.
Ideal for: EDC carriers who find the Delica a little small and the Endura a little large; boaters, campers, and outdoor users who need a serrated folder for rope and cord; and steel enthusiasts collecting Spyderco's K390 family.
Care note: K390 MICROCLEAN is a tool steel, not a stainless steel. It may patina or rust, so wipe it clean and dry after use and keep a light coat of oil on the blade.
The Spyderco Endela in K390 MICROCLEAN with a SpyderEdge blade and blue FRN (C243FSK390) ships same or next business day from Columbia, Louisiana. Knifeworks is an authorized Spyderco dealer.
Spyderco Endela K390: Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the most common questions about the Spyderco Endela (C243FSK390).
What lock does the Spyderco Endela C243FSK390 use?+
The Endela uses a Back Lock. When the blade opens, a spring-loaded lock bar in the spine of the handle drops into a notch in the blade tang and holds it securely. To close, press the exposed section of the lock bar on the back of the handle and fold the blade, keeping your fingers clear of the edge. The lock works the same for left- and right-handed users.
How does the Endela compare to the Delica and Endura?+
Spyderco created the Endela to split the difference between its best-selling Endura 4 and Delica 4 Lightweight. With a 3.41-inch blade and a 4.69-inch closed length, it offers more reach than the Delica in a smaller package than the Endura, with the same proven features as both.
What is a SpyderEdge serrated blade good for, and how do I sharpen it?+
Spyderco's SpyderEdge is a fully serrated edge pattern. The serrations grip fibrous materials, so the blade cuts rope, webbing, seatbelt material, and cordage where a plain edge tends to slip. To sharpen it, use the corner of a triangle or tapered rod to touch up each serration from the beveled side, then lightly remove the burr on the flat side. Spyderco also offers factory sharpening service.
What is K390 MICROCLEAN steel, and how do I care for it?+
K390 MICROCLEAN is a powder metallurgy cold work tool steel from Böhler-Uddeholm, formulated for demanding industrial applications and known for exceptional edge retention. It is not a stainless steel, so it may develop a patina or rust if left wet or dirty. Wipe it clean and dry after use and keep a light coat of oil on the blade. Spyderco marks its K390 knives with a blue handle color.
What comes with the Endela C243FSK390?+
The C243FSK390 ships as a knife with its four-position pocket clip installed. It is knife only, with no sheath included. Packaging and included items are set by Spyderco and are subject to change.
Where is the Endela C243FSK390 made, and what warranty covers it?+

The warranty does not cover loss, theft, accidents, abuse, misuse, improper sharpening, normal wear and tear, or alterations, and broken, lost, or bent metal clips are typically not covered.
