CTS-BD1N is an American stainless steel with added nitrogen, which helps it hold a keen edge while resisting rust. In everyday carry, that means an edge that handles boxes, tape, and cord and stands up to sweat and humid weather with little upkeep. The 0.145" blade is full-flat ground and finished with a black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating for a non-reflective look.
