Product Description
The Para Military 2 C81GPCMO2 distills Spyderco's Military design into a more compact, pocket-friendly folder with a Compression Lock and a four-position clip. This version pairs a 3.45" satin CPM S45VN PlainEdge blade with digital camo G-10 and brightly finished hardware.
CPM S45VN is a powder metallurgy stainless steel from Crucible, developed as an advance on CPM S35VN with added niobium for a fine, tough structure. It balances edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance, so it holds a working edge through daily use and stands up to sweat and humid weather. The 0.145" blade is full-flat ground with a satin finish, and its textured index-finger choil and thumb ramp support a choked-up grip for precise cuts.
- Blade: 3.45" CPM S45VN clip point with a 3.05" PlainEdge, full-flat grind, satin finish, 0.145" thick; textured index-finger choil and thumb ramp.
- Handle: Digital camo peel-ply-textured G-10 scales with skeletonized stainless steel liners nested into machined recesses, in an open-backed build with brightly finished hardware; 4.82" closed, 0.455" thick, 3.8 oz.
- Deployment + Lock: Spyderco Trademark Round Hole for one-handed opening with either hand; the Compression Lock releases from the spine side, so your fingers stay clear of the closing blade.
- Carry: Four-position hourglass clip for tip-up or tip-down carry on the right or left side, plus an oversized lined lanyard hole; 8.26" overall.
Ideal for: EDC carriers who want a mid-size folder with full-size handling; hunters and outdoor users who like a camo handle; and Para Military 2 fans who want the satin blade with camo scales.
The Spyderco Para Military 2 in satin CPM S45VN with digital camo G-10 (C81GPCMO2) ships same or next business day from Columbia, Louisiana. Knifeworks is an authorized Spyderco dealer.
Spyderco Para Military 2: Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the most common questions about the Spyderco Para Military 2 (C81GPCMO2).
What lock does the Spyderco Para Military 2 C81GPCMO2 use?＋
The Para Military 2 uses Spyderco's Compression Lock, built into skeletonized stainless steel liners nested into machined recesses in the G-10 scales. When the knife is open, a leaf spring in the liner wedges between the blade tang and the stop pin. You release it from the spine side of the handle with one hand, which keeps your fingers out of the blade's path as it closes.
How does the Para Military 2 compare to the Military?＋
Spyderco designed the Para Military 2 to distill the performance of its Military model into a more compact, pocket-friendly folder. It adds the Compression Lock and a four-position clip, and keeps the full-flat ground blade, Trademark Round Hole, and textured choil and thumb ramp, in a 3.45-inch blade and a 4.82-inch closed length.
What is CPM S45VN steel?＋
CPM S45VN is a powder metallurgy stainless steel from Crucible, developed as an advance on CPM S35VN with added niobium for a fine, tough structure. It balances edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance, holds a working edge through daily use, and sharpens well on diamond or ceramic abrasives.
What is the Para Military 2 blade good for?＋
The C81GPCMO2 has a 3.45-inch clip point blade with a 3.05-inch PlainEdge and a full-flat grind, so it slices cleanly for opening packages, breaking down boxes, cutting cord, and food prep. The textured index-finger choil and thumb ramp let you choke up on the blade for detailed, controlled cuts.
What comes with the Para Military 2 C81GPCMO2?＋
The C81GPCMO2 ships as a knife with its four-position pocket clip installed. It is knife only, with no sheath or lanyard included. Packaging and included items are set by Spyderco and are subject to change.
