CPM S45VN is a powder metallurgy stainless steel from Crucible, developed as an advance on CPM S35VN with added niobium for a fine, tough structure. It balances edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance, so it holds a working edge through daily use and stands up to sweat and humid weather. The 0.145" blade is full-flat ground and finished with a black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating for a non-reflective look, and its textured index-finger choil and thumb ramp support a choked-up grip for precise cuts.
