CPM MagnaCut is a powder-metallurgy stainless steel designed to balance strong edge retention and toughness with very high corrosion resistance. On the Shaman Salt, it is full-flat ground to 0.145" thick with a satin finish, giving a thin, efficient cutting edge on a blade sturdy enough for hard use. The open-backed handle rinses clean easily, and nested, skeletonized stainless steel liners form the backbone of a strong Compression Lock.
