K390 MICROCLEAN is a powder metallurgy tool steel from Böhler-Uddeholm, developed for the wear resistance, toughness, and compressive strength that demanding industrial applications require. In the field, that means long edge life for dressing game and outdoor chores between sharpenings. The thin 0.118" blade is full-flat ground with a satin finish for clean, controlled slicing. The trade-off is care: it isn't stainless, so it needs to be kept clean and dry.
