The Case RussLock 75315 is a one-hand opening linerlock on the 61953L pattern, a Case exclusive design introduced in 2000 and named for company founder J. Russell "Russ" Case. Unlike the Trapper or Stockman's slipjoint construction, the RussLock uses a true liner lock secured by a gimped thumb lever built into the base of the blade, giving it a sleek, modern profile inspired by the long retired Jack Knife pattern.

The 2.75" clip point blade is forged from Tru-Sharp Surgical Steel, Case's proprietary 420HC stainless formula hardened to 54–57 HRC. The clip point serves as a strong, versatile everyday blade suited to detail work and general cutting tasks. It carries a mirror polish finish, and the extended tail integrated into the blade's base allows for quick, smooth one-handed opening without a separate flipper or stud.

The handle scales are yellow Platts jigged cattle bone, a finer, more tightly packed jig pattern than standard corn cob or peach seed that produces a grip texture between smooth and aggressively textured. The yellow dye on genuine cattle bone means each handle carries natural variation no synthetic material can replicate. High-polished nickel silver bolsters and a nickel silver oval Case shield inlay complete the hardware, with brass pins and liners supporting the linerlock mechanism.
