CPM S30V is an American particle metallurgy stainless steel designed specifically for knife blades, with a balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. Here it is hardened to 61-62 HRC, so it holds a working edge through long days of cutting and resists rust from sweat and humid weather. The broad, leaf-shaped blade is full-flat ground and finished with a black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating for a non-reflective look.
