This all-black version pairs a black DLC-coated CPM MagnaCut blade with black G-10 scales and black-coated, corrosion-resistant liners, clip, and hardware.
CPM MagnaCut is a powder metallurgy stainless steel designed to combine edge retention, toughness, and very high corrosion resistance, a mix that's hard to find in one steel. It holds a working edge through daily use and resists rust from salt water, sweat, and humidity. The 0.145" blade is full-flat ground for clean slicing, and a black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating adds a hard, non-reflective surface layer on top of the steel's own corrosion resistance.
