M390 is a Böhler-Uddeholm powder-metallurgy stainless steel known for strong edge retention and good corrosion resistance. In practice, that means a blade that stays sharp through long stretches of everyday cutting and resists rust with basic care. The Thyn's 2.94" blade is full-flat ground for clean slicing, with a crowned spine for comfort. Spyderco describes this model as about 14 percent smaller than its full-size counterpart, keeping the same key features in a sleeker package.
