CPM S30V is an American particle metallurgy stainless steel designed specifically for knife blades, with a balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. The 3.2" blade is hollow ground with a perfectly straight PlainEdge that carries cutting power all the way to the tip, and a black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating gives it a non-reflective look. The handle's contours encourage a thumb-forward grip, so the blade works as a natural extension of the hand.
