The nose momentum pin is an additional press-fit steel pin located at or near the blade tip — the nose of the trainer. During a flip sequence, the nose momentum pin adds mass to the tip of the blade, which affects the rotational dynamics of the trainer by increasing the momentum of the blade during rotation. This produces a distinctly different flip feel compared to a standard zen-pin-only configuration — more pull from the blade tip during tricks, which some flippers find useful for learning momentum-dependent sequences or simply prefer for its distinct character.

The dual rubber O-ring silencer system places small rubber O-rings at the zen pin positions inside the handle channels.
