Product Description
The Case Barlow 75313 is a two blade slipjoint on the 62009½ pattern, one of the oldest and most recognized pocketknife patterns in American history. The Barlow's signature elongated bolster gives it a distinctive silhouette that sets it apart from every other pattern in the Case lineup. At 3.38" closed and 3.20 oz, it carries a substantial feel in the pocket despite its compact length.
Both blades are Tru-Sharp Surgical Steel, Case's proprietary 420HC stainless formula hardened to 54–57 HRC. Tru-Sharp resists corrosion in everyday carry conditions without the patina management carbon steel requires, while still sharpening readily on a standard stone or ceramic rod. The 2.50" spear point serves as the master blade, strong and symmetrical for general cutting and piercing tasks. The 1.88" pen blade is a smaller secondary blade suited to fine detail and utility work. Both blades carry a mirror polish finish and open manually via nail nick.
The handle scales are yellow Platts jigged cattle bone, a finer, more tightly packed jig pattern than standard corn cob or peach seed that produces a grip texture between smooth and aggressively textured. The yellow dye on genuine cattle bone means each handle carries natural variation no synthetic material can replicate. High-polished nickel silver bolsters are shaped in the classic elongated Barlow style, paired with a nickel silver oval script Case shield inlay. Brass liners support the construction throughout.
Made in Bradford, Pennsylvania by W.R. Case & Sons since 1889. Ships same or next business day from Knifeworks in Columbia, Louisiana.
