The blade is ground from CPM MagnaCut — Crucible's particle metallurgy stainless steel engineered by Dr. Larrin Thomas to deliver edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance simultaneously. The 3.00" Wharncliffe profile is a straight-spine, straight-edged blade geometry that runs parallel from the handle to a tip that drops to meet the edge in a single controlled point. The Wharncliffe excels at slicing tasks, precise detail cuts, and pull-cutting — the geometry keeps the edge engaged through the full stroke in a way a curved drop point cannot replicate. The bronze finish is applied across the entire blade surface and carried through the hardware for a unified aesthetic that Heretic describes as coming out "incredibly well" in this configuration.

The push button automatic mechanism uses Heretic's new custom flat coil springs and a proprietary bearing system — a departure from the conventional spring systems used in most production automatics, and new to the Jinn platform.
