CPM SPY27 is a stainless steel made exclusively for Spyderco using Crucible's particle metallurgy process. Spyderco credits its alloy mix of vanadium, molybdenum, niobium, and nitrogen, with cobalt as the signature element, for combining toughness, corrosion resistance, and edge retention in one blade. For a working knife, that means an edge that holds up through a long day of cutting, handles sweat and humidity well, and touches up without much fuss. The 0.125" blade has a full-flat grind and a satin finish for low-friction slicing.

What lock does the Spyderco Bodacious C263GPCBL use?＋
The Bodacious uses Spyderco's Compression Lock, built into the skeletonized stainless steel liners nested inside the G-10 scales. When the knife is open, a leaf spring in the liner wedges between the blade tang and the stop pin. You release it from the spine side of the handle with one hand, which keeps your fingers out of the blade's path as it closes.
