CPM S30V is an American particle metallurgy stainless steel designed specifically for knife blades, with a balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. The thin 0.118" blade is full-flat ground for excellent edge geometry, so it slices cleanly through packages, cord, and food. The red backspacer is a nod to the knife's original "Redback" name.
