The MicroJimbo uses Spyderco's Compression Lock, built into the nested stainless steel liners. When the knife is open, a leaf spring in the liner wedges between the blade tang and the stop pin. You release it from the spine side of the handle with one hand, which keeps your fingers out of the blade's path as it closes.

Michael Janich designed the Yojimbo 2, and the MicroJimbo scales it down while keeping the critical dimensional relationships of the larger knife, including the cockpit grip area in the center of the handle. Spyderco says it deploys and handles like its full-sized counterpart, in a 2.45-inch blade and a 3.80-inch closed length.

A Wharncliffe has a straight edge and a spine that drops down to meet it at the point. That puts the tip in line with the edge, which gives you precise control for opening packages, breaking down boxes, trimming cord, and detail cuts. The trade-off is less belly for long sweeping slices.

CPM S30V is an American particle metallurgy stainless steel developed specifically for knife blades, with a balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. It holds a working edge through daily use, resists rust in everyday carry, and sharpens well on diamond, ceramic, or quality synthetic stones.

The C264GP ships as a knife with its reversible deep-pocket wire clip installed. It is knife only, with no sheath included. Packaging and included items are set by Spyderco and are subject to change.
