Product Description
The GiantMouse ACE Sonoma Titanium is the knife that proved GiantMouse was ready to play at the top of the production folder market. Named after Sonoma County, which lies just north of GiantMouse's original headquarters in Marin County, California, the Sonoma represents the first frame lock in the ACE line — longer, slimmer, and more premium in execution than anything else in the catalog. The satin titanium version is the purist's choice — where the Black PVD commits to tactical contrast, the stonewash titanium lets the material speak for itself, and the satin blade finish shows the steel in its clearest form. This is the Sonoma for the buyer who appreciates subtlety.
The 3.4-inch drop point blade is ground from Böhler M390 MICROCLEAN stainless steel and brought to a clean satin finish that shows the grind lines clearly and reflects light with precision. M390 at approximately 61 HRC delivers outstanding edge retention and excellent corrosion resistance — the same steel found on folders costing significantly more, applied here to a blade geometry that excels at everyday slicing, detail work, and carry tasks. The flipper tab fires the blade open via a precision ball bearing pivot for fast, repeatable deployment. The titanium frame lock engages directly off the handle frame for mechanically clean and rock-solid blade retention.
The contoured titanium handle scales are stonewash finished — a surface treatment that gives the titanium a warm, muted gray tone that hides wear and improves grip texture over time. GiantMouse's milled titanium skeletonized clip mimics the flex of a wire clip while delivering full titanium strength. Anodized titanium pivot collars and backspacer bring GM limited edition details to the ACE platform. Each Sonoma ships with both a standard milled titanium clip and a deep-carry pocket clip. Manufactured by Reate Knives to GiantMouse's exacting specifications. As an authorized GiantMouse dealer, Knifeworks ships every ACE Sonoma fast.
